AN IRREVERENT EXPERIMENT

Rabbi and the Popes is an ongoing musical experiment that ties in elements of rock, funk, jam band and more, with the united goal of getting our bodies moving. We are a four-piece like Queen in the 70s! charismatic vocalist/piano player, larger than life lead guitarist, slammin bass player, and a drummer who can groove to any vibe, live and in the moment.

Drums are explored by Rabbi (real name Mike Witman) from the band UVC; Dan Marks (also of UVC fame) plays a positively biting lead guitar. Elizabeth Rex sings vocals that sometimes are so gentle, then suddenly they rip your head right off without apology; plus she straight lays it down on keys. Finally, the addictive bass in your face is provided by Mike Drucker of The Yes Way.
